While three drop-offs and pick-ups isn't ideal and makes for a long commute home after work and school, it does lend itself to really fun(ny) together time (most days :-)). Almost every day I hear something from the girls that makes me laugh out loud or something that opens the door to good conversation or teachable moments.
Yesterday Sutton's end of the conversation did not disappoint. Actually it was less of a conversation and more of a soliliquy.
Sutton (to no one in particular): When I grow up, I'm going to be a bride... and an army girl princess. Oh, and people will yell and cheer for me.
A little context for the reference to people yelling and cheering for her... I have no doubt that comment is a result of her experience at the Taylor Swift concert last weekend. There is a chance that we've created a monster. Since the concert she has taken to "performing" on the front porch and making anyone in the vicinity sit on the sidewalk below to be her audience. I should add she's not above telling anyone to cheer louder or more after she's finished her performance either.
