Sneak Peek

Just a sneak peek into our Disney World adventure for our faithful followers...

And so it begins...

We arrived home from our Disney World adventure last week... I think we've finally recovered. I will blog on that trip soon. Totally exhausting, but magic for the girlies which made it totally worth it for the parents!

In the meantime, I wanted to give a quick shout out to Miss Emme and her foray into "competitive" swimming. I use competitive loosely--she is only 5 :-) She had her first meet on Monday evening. Her dad was so proud, as he was a swimmer back in the day and was so excited to show her the ropes. It is safe to say that her mama was like a fish out of water (no pun intended :-)), but also very proud of her first-born for putting herself out there. She was one of two five-year-olds competing in the 6 and under age group.

Unfortunately, she was lined up to swim her first event (backstroke), the thunder boomed and the meet was very quickly cancelled. So, this week it really was all about looking good in her swim team swimsuit and swim cap.

Prince-Schmince...

These silly princesses have their own horse! However, someone may have to inform Sutty that if she plans on horseback riding beyond pretend play, she will probably need to open her eyes :-)

Our new "Foodie"

Miss Eastyn's milestones are flying by... too quickly if you ask her mama. However, I believe that her big sisters are loving that she's interacting and "talking" with them more, actually eating when she joins us at the table and rolling to them if they encourage her.

We thought all of Eastyn's groupies might enjoy a little pictorial of her foray into solid foods.

Loosey Toothy

Miss Emerson Jules bounded down the stairs on Memorial Day and announced that she has four loose teeth! Yes, she's already an overachiever, friends. Mama happily added "losing first tooth" to our impending milestone calendar, which currently includes first trip to Disney World (shhhh - that one is still a secret) and first day of kindergarten. And Dr. Daddy promised that he would put the Tooth Fairy on alert. Stay tuned...
