The big girls were very into St. Patrick's Day this year. I wish that I would have snapped a picture of Miss Sutton before she left for Little Kingdom. However, the little leprechaun wouldn't stand still for a picture in all her green glory. She had on her kelly green Little Kingdom t-shirt, green and hot pink striped tights and a mint green tulle skirt. Shamrocking! By the time we got to our green themed St. Patrick's Day dinner, she'd already changed into her favorite Cinderella dress.
It was a fun day for both of the girls. Happy the Leprechaun visited Emme's class and left behind a pot with candy and a note for each little munchkin and Emme even found the hat that he left behind. Sutty's class also received St. Patty's day treats and celebrated.
They were surprised to find a note from the Lucky Leprechauns on the kitchen table when we arrived home from Little Kingdom. So they followed the magic shamrock trail up to the attic where the Lepraechauns had left each of the girls a pot o' gold and silver.
When daddy got home, the evening commenced with our green themed dinner. As I said earlier, who needs the traditional corned beef and cabbage when you can have green eggs, green pancakes and sausage?
