Although overcast and chilly, you wouldn't have known it to look at the pictures from Easter morning 2009! I promise they will be posted soon. You'll notice the sunglasses Emme has on in most of the pictures. The girls woke to find a trail of eggs and candy that the Easter Bunny left from their rooms to their Easter Baskets to a serious egg hunt in the backyard.
Both were thrilled with the surprises that the Easter Bunny left in their baskets. Emme had a great time gathering all of the eggs in the backyard. Sutton wasn't so interested in gathering the eggs--perhaps because she was more interested in all the candy that was already in her basket!
We enjoyed the family service at church, which was perfect for the girls. Thirty-five minutes filled by a puppet show and noise-makers. Sutton stood in the aisle most of the service and no one batted an eye :). Then it was on to Hillcrest for brunch and back home for naps on this rainy afternoon.
